Both the 4.5″ and 7″ kits are complete systems not only built for daily driving, but will handle about any off road excursion you can think of. The heavy-duty main crossmembers are locked together by a full belly pan that offers superior off road protection. The CNC machined steering knuckles ensure a clean and simple install.

6” Suspension System – 2009 Ford F-150 4wd

Coldwater, MI—February 25, 2009—BDS Suspension is now shipping a 6” suspension system for the 2009 F-150 4WD with includes CNC machined steering knuckles to return the vehicle's steering to OE geometry. One piece front & rear High Clearance crossmembers increase rigidity for long term performance as well as dramatically increase ground clearance. A 1/4" thick steel differential skid plate is included to ensure off road protection. New custom valved off road struts are supplied that are designed to handle the increased load of an oversized tire while still maintaining the OE ride quality. The rear includes a new offset spring plate to center the rear axle and give your 37's plenty of room.

2.5" Leveling Kit

2-1/2” Leveling Kit – 2009 Ford F-150 2/4wd

Coldwater, MI—January 9, 2009—BDS Suspension has released a 2.5” leveling kit for the 2009 F-150 2/4WD pickup. This system includes a new upper strut mount as well as pre-load spacers. The use of a pre-load spacer increases performance in cornering as well as offsets the increase weight of larger tires to maintain a quality ride. Unlike most systems on the market, the two piece system does not max out the upper ball joints during suspension travel. A 1" rear block kit is available to maintain a slight rake if desired.

6" Suspension System – 2009 DODGE 1500 1/2 Ton Pickup

Coldwater, MI—December 2, 2008—The wait is over for 2009 Dodge 1500 pickup owners. This kit is based around two one-piece, 1/4″ laser cut high clearance crossmembers and replacement steering knuckles.  High-clearance crossmembers increase ground clearance for off road performance in this new BDS Suspension lift kit. The replacement steering knuckles reduce installation time as well as maintain proper steering angles and ball joint angles. A differential skid plate and compression struts are included for off road protection. The system also includes bump stop drops, anti-sway bar links, 3 point differential drop system, strut relocation brackets, and front stainless steel brake lines. The rear is lifted via BDS exclusive Pro-Ride coils that are capable of being smashed totally flat and will come back to normal ride height. The rear is completed with a track bar bracket, upper link relocation brackets and sway bar links.

Coldwater, MI—November 24, 2008—BDS Suspension has release a 7” high-clearance IFS suspension system for the 2001-2008 Chevrolet 2500 HD. This new high-clearance design is a true blend of performance, appearance, and function. The suspension geometry creates an OE style ride with a desert racing appearance. These high arched crossmembers blend perfectly with the lower control arm angles to give a truly OE appearance while lifting your vehicle a full 7” and dramatically increasing ground clearance at the front crossmember. A heavy-duty front skid plate and differential skid plate is included for extreme off road protection. New narrow track knuckles are also included to minimize track width change. Rear lift options include a block or a full new rear leaf spring.

Coldwater, MI—May 21, 2008—BDS Suspension is now shipping a revolutionary new High Clearance system that is also integrated with a No Torsion Bar Drop system. This combination offers more ground clearance than any 6” 4WD system on the market today!

These high arched cross members blend perfectly with the lower control arm angles to give a truly O.E. appearance while lifting your vehicle a full 6.5” without cranking the torsion bars. Combine the High Clearance System with the revolutionary No Torsion Bar Drop system and you have more ground clearance, better performance, an improved geometry that not only rides great on road, but offers more ground clearance off road than anything on the market today!

This system is available with two different rear options including a block and add-a-leaf or a full rear Glide-Ride leaf spring. Our rear Glide-Ride Springs feature bolt style leaf alignment clamps for increased flex, anti-friction pads for reduced noise and smooth movement, and tapered leaves for a smooth transition through wheel travel. 

The complete system is available in our traditional granite or textured black powder coating.

4.5” Long Arm Suspension System – 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ

Coldwater, MI—April 30, 2008—The 4.5” long arm system from BDS for the Wrangler TJ was designed for serious off road use as well as the daily commute. A true 4-link system offers improved control both on and off road compared to any radius arm system. The 4-link system is centered around 4 massive control arms.  The adjustable upper control arms come standard with a flex joint and the lower fixed control arms have a flex joint at both ends.

These massive control arms are attached to 1/4 thick steel mounting brackets that not only improves off road protection, but increases structural rigidity of the suspension system. Kevlar lined stainless steel brake lines are included as well as BDS Ultimate front sway bar disconnects. A BDS exclusive heavy-duty front adjustable track bar is included to properly center the axle. Combine all of this with BDS Pro-Ride coils as well as custom valved gas or hydraulic shocks and your TJ is ready for the trail!

Coldwater, MI—April 28, 2008 —BDS Suspension has released an 8.5” long arm system for the 87-01 Cherokee XJ. This system was designed for serious off road use as well as the daily commute.  A true 4-link system offers improved control both on and off road compared to any radius arm system.  The 4-link system is centered around 4 massive control arms that are fully adjustable. The upper control arms come standard with a flex joint and the lower control arms are available with either a grease able urethane mount or flex arms. 

These massive control arms are attached to a ¼ thick steel belly pan that not only improves off road protection, but increases structural rigidity of the suspension system. Kevlar lined stainless steel brake lines are included as well as BDS Ultimate front sway bar disconnects. A heavy-duty front adjustable track bar is included to properly center the axle.

This high clearance IFS system is a true blend of performance, appearance and function. Maintaining the OE control arm movements ensures an OE style ride with a desert racing appearance.  These high arched crossmembers blend perfectly with the lower control arm angles to give a truly OE appearance while still lifting your vehicle a full 8”. 

This system is available with two different rear options including a block and add-a-leaf kit or a full leaf spring replacement. Our rear systems lift the vehicle a full 5.5 to 6” to level the vehicle. The rear springs feature bolt style alignment clamps for increased flex, anti-friction pads for reduced noise, and tapered leaves for a smooth transition through wheel travel.

5.5-6.5” Long Arm Suspension System – 2007 Jeep JK 2-door & 4-door

Coldwater, MI—March 4, 2008—After many months of testing, BDS is proud to release the new 4-Link long arm system for the ’07-08 Jeep Wrangler. This system is a true symphony of off road performance and on road handling. The 4-Link long arm system offers improved caster angles which improves steering control for on road handling as well as high speed off road use. Disconnect the sway bars with the BDS Ultimate disconnects and you’ll see the system really perform. The re-buildable and greasable flex arms allow the suspension to flex over any obstacle while the track bar relocation systems help to reduce the roll center. 

In order to offer this type of extreme flex, the BDS Pro-Ride coils were designed to be able to fully collapse and still return to their original height. Repetitive off road use won’t even phase these coils springs! Braided, stainless brake lines with Kevlar lining are included to enhance braking performance as well as allow for extreme wheel travel. 

This complete system also includes a forged dropped pitman arm for reduced steering angles, bump stop extensions, rear sway bar relocation and easy to follow installation instructions.
