When Sonny and his crew arrived at the Brown County Fair Grounds in Mt. Sterling, Illinois, on August 5th with the Mac Attack, Sonny surveyed the track conditions which were dry with tall double jumps, along with four single jumps with two extra whoops in the corners.  As the day went on, the track crew watered the course heavily.  At 7:00 pm  the event started with qualifying time runs, as Sonny conquers the course with the new Pro Comp Mud Terrain tires pelting the in-field with chunks of mud, he ended up with the fastest time.  As the competition came down to the final four, Sonny got paired up with John Jungblut in the Wild Thing for Chicago Style racing, Sonny won that match.  As Herb Wyman in the Last Minute machine and John in his Hopkins truck battle it out, John won. Next came the finals between Sonny in the Mac Attack, against John in the Hopkins ranger.  Sonny came out victorious.  Before the event was over, there was still the freestyle competition with Sonny putting on a spectacular show of four wheel drive donuts and some high flyin jumps.  Thanks to our sponsors, BDS Suspension, Truxedo, Pro Comp Tires and Wheels and Access Cover, we have an awesome truck and an excellent crew that is proving its self through the year.
