4.5” Long Arm Suspension System – 1987-2001 Jeep Cherokee XJ

Coldwater, MI—February 14 , 2008— This 4.5” long arm system was designed for serious off road use as well as the daily commute. A true 4-link system offers improved control both on and off road compared to any radius arm system. The 4-link system is centered around four massive control arms that are fully adjustable. The upper control arms come standard with a flex joint and the lower control arms are available with either a greaseable urethane mount or flex ends.

These massive control arms are attached to a ¼" thick steel belly pan that not only improves off road protection, but increases structural rigidity of the suspension system. Kevlar lined stainless steel brake lines are included as well as BDS Ultimate front sway bar disconnects. A heavy-duty front adjustable track bar is included to properly center the axle.

The rear is lifted with new BDS Glide-Ride leaf springs and extended length shackles that help these springs really flex. The Glide-Ride leaf springs come with anti-friction pads, tapered leafs and bolt style leaf alignment clamps.
